INGAF’s Regional Training Centre (RTC) at Kolkata was established in 1994 to cater to the training and capacity building needs of accounting personnel of Indian Civil Accounts Organisation in the eastern and north eastern region of the country. Over the years, it has started offering a number of specialized programs/courses as per the specific requirements of various sponsoring authorities like government departments, PSUs, autonomous bodies. Training programs have been conducted for organisations like Coal Mines Provident Fund Commissioner, Dhanbad, Tea Board Kolkata, CBEC (EZ) Kolkata, Office of the Director (BSI/ZSI) Kolkata, Central Statistical Organization, Kolkata, Controller of Communication Accounts, D.O.T Kolkata, Regional Office of Health and Family Welfare, Kolkata etc. The RTC is located 3rd floor of 15, R.N. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata and is equipped with high-tech multi-media classrooms, library and computer labs in order to impart quality training.
TRAINING MODULES AND PEDAGOGY The RTC offers training courses/programs on the wide range of subjects including public financial management, accounts and finance, HR management and information technology etc. Its faculty and key resource persons comprises of a dedicated team of experienced professionals and experts in various fields. Since its inception, it has imparted training to over 7000 participants for skill up-gradation and capacity building in various fields. The pedagogy of the training comprises a mix of lectures, practical exercises, case studies and discussions. Computer training is imparted through practical sessions. The courses provide a unique opportunity to the participants to learn and share their experiences and knowledge with the resource persons as well as among themselves.
RTC is regularly conducting training courses/programs for the accounting personnel as per the annual training calendar of INGAF, New Delhi. It also conducts specialized training programs as per the specific requirements of sponsoring organizations. The list of courses/programs is given below.
PARTICIPATION FEE The fee will depend upon the course selected and the number of participants attending the program. The fee includes writing material, study materials, tea, snacks, and lunch on all days. The D/D of desired amount may be drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer, INGAF”, payable at New Delhi. Participants will have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging. However, RTC can help them to get accommodation near the Institute, if required.
